Get a dataset

Fetch the full record for a single dataset, addressed by its table name. This endpoint is public and costs no credits. Use it to render a dataset detail page or to decide whether to spend credits on a download.

Field	Description
id	Internal UUID for the dataset record.
table	Dataset identifier used in every other dataset and OGC endpoint.
title	Localized name (per locale).
description	Localized long description (per locale).
country	ISO country code.
type	Geometry type: point, polygon, or line.
totalRecords	Number of rows.
metadata.theme	Catalogue theme slug.
metadata.accrualPeriodicity	Refresh cadence, for example monthly.
metadata.modified	Date of the most recent refresh. Watch this to detect updates, see Refresh hooks.
metadata.issued	Date the dataset was first published.
metadata.keywords	Search/classification tags.
metadata.spatial	Geographic coverage.
metadata.license	License under which the data is provided.
qualityGrade	Letter grade (A–F) and numeric score (0–1).
fieldAnalysis[]	Per-field profile: name, type, null ratio, distinct count, and numeric min/max where applicable. Use it to plan queries and downloads without pulling rows.
coverage	Geographic extent: country, spatial, and a WGS84 bbox as [minLon, minLat, maxLon, maxLat].
accessLevel	Whether the dataset is openly available or licensed (requires an addon/license to download).
availability	Whether the dataset is currently available for access.
sampleCsvUrl, sampleJsonUrl	Direct links to free samples, see Sample rows.
thumbnailUrl	Preview image.

Coordinates are always WGS84 (EPSG:4326). Topolab does not serve geometry in RD New (EPSG:28992).

Products that include this dataset

A dataset may be sold inside one or more commerce products. To list them:

This is public and costs no credits. It returns the products (price, license, slug) that bundle the dataset, so you can link a developer to a purchase page. Some datasets are B2B-only and have no product; in that case the array is empty.

404	Unknown table.
